Saturday 27 June saw Steve Haworth, MD of Cherry Red, give a presentation to the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Members in Practice Group at the Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow, London.
Entitled ‘Killer Websites’, the presentation focused on how CIMA members could make their web presence felt in 2009, given the rapid changes in web technology, the rise in influence of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, and how using these web technologies can help promote business on the Internet.
As one attendee put it:
“I found your CIMA presentation very inspirational. I had already identified the huge value of Facebook and Twitter but you really motivated me to get this right. The charity would also benefit from YouTube clips and videos too but I get very frustrated because I don’t know where to start. I eulogised about your presentation to my fellow Lion Aid trustee as soon as I got back last night!”
