What’s in a name?
After nearly ten years, we’ve had a change. As good as a rest, so they say.
We’ll it had to happen at some point. The kind of work we’re doing has expanded to the point that our name no longer said it all.
Promoting any business - whether offline or online - there are so many facets, so many areas which overlap in achieving the objective, that ‘Cherry Red Design’ no longer covered all that we do. We had planned a change of name to ‘Cherry Red Interactive Design & Marketing Ltd’, but to be honest, not even that covered things properly. And have you ever tried to fill an online form out with a company name that long? OK, 45 characters should be allowed in most forms, but you’d be surprised at how many times the web designer has limited the input to less.
The long and short of it is that we cover EVERYTHING your business needs to make its presence felt in its marketplace. Taking it from the top, that starts with business branding - name, logo design, corporate identity, business stationery and communications pieces, packaging design. Then there’s the online side from domain name selection, domain acquisition, web hosting, website design and development, interactive web applications and web tools, web video - including shooting it, editing it and deploying it. Then there’s promotion, online and offline, PayPerClick campaign setup and monitoring, and search engine optimisation (SEO). We also provide copywriting and PR services.
So. Since most people we deal with refer to us as ‘Cherry Red’, who are we to argue? So from now on, Cherry Red it is. And if you want to know more about what we do, just ask.
